Il Comune di Firenze, Assessorato al Turismo e Sistema Moda presenta 61 PERCORSI DI MODA A FIRENZE TRA ARTE, BOTTEGHE E ATELIERS DI MODA.

Guide specializzate vi porteranno alla scoperta dell’artigianato fiorentino, da sempre sinonimo di eleganza, tradizione, gusto e raffinatezza.

Gli itinerari si svolgono il martedì e il venerdì. Iniziano alle 15.30 e durano circa tre ore.



Comprendono la visita a due botteghe artigiane e - visto che a Firenze artigianato fa rima con storia - anche a un luogo d’arte del capoluogo toscano.

Le visite sono gratuite, salvo l’eventuale biglietto d’ingresso al museo, chiesa o monumento in programma quel giorno. La prenotazione può essere effettuata dal lunedì al venerdì dalle 9 alle 18 chiamando il numero 055.2340742.

Florence Art & Fashion Tours take you on sixtyone excursions into the world of Florentine High Fashion. Couture starts here. In the workshops of Florence's famed artisans. Cobblers, dressmakers, haberdashers, and jewelry makers. Did you know that Oscar -winner Daniel Day Lewis tried his hand at shoe-making, setting up shop briefly in Florence?



Florence Art and Fashion presents sixtyone"fashion excursions" through the city's artisan district, led by an English-speaking guide. These tours let you see the intricate, hand-woven fabric on a wedding dress, the sparkling accents on bijoux and precious jewelry, and the hammer-pounded leather that makes Italian shoes so soft and supple. In these workshops, tucked away in Florence's historic center, experience and technique are passed down from master to apprentice. The visits take place every Tuesday and Friday. Reservations required, so please call 055.23.40.742 to book. The three-hour tour includes two boutiques or ateliers and a stop at a museum or church. Florence's artisans are noted for their hard work and unfailing taste. In short, that fine Italian
hand guided by an expert Italian eye.
