With a voice fueled by observation and fused to the feelings of the heart comes the music of Danni Rosner- singer, songwriter and composer.

Born Danielle in Washington, D.C. on May 24, 1984, Danni's youth was peppered with music. From age three, she was writing and performing her own songs and by age 10, she was entering local composition competitions.

The Danni Rosner sound tells it like it is without being overt. The 24 year old's introspective notions bring together hopefulness with the soulful recall of an artist aware of more than her age relays. It's her humor and adoration of all things youthful- including dinosaurs, natural history, exploration of islands, mountains and caves- that make the musings of her music delightful in a candy-coated, yet responsible way.

She grew up improvising melodies with her father, playing standard rock and jazz piano- making it a common, comfortable occurrence throughout her life to hop onto any stage at any moment and make up a tune.

Stationed now in the Washington DC Metro, Danni is a singer who's garnered her music style from international roots & inspiration. Having lived most of her childhood and teenage years in Tokyo, Japan, her blended appreciation of the world, continued travel and the lively experiences from her treks have all leant to the enriching of her music, and her persona overall.

Singing is parallel to her appreciation of language, the multi-lingual talent notes, "Language- I love language. Speaking language is a game." It could be said singing is the complimentary icing to her desert-love of words and writing.

As a student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, she was a mainstay with a jazz and blues improvisation band, where she showcased originality and creativity, as well as honed her big sound.

In her last semester, she interned in Italy and reported on air in English and Italian for a Florence TV station- awarding her the final credits to graduate with dual 2007 degrees in Music and English. The Florence jazz and night club scene also got a taste of her vocal abilities.

Since then, Danni has been making a name for herself in the DC music scene, performing with a corporate events band and singing at events such as the Radio and TV Correspondent's dinner hosted by Vice President Dick Cheney and landing a spot as a featured global artist on a national music show on MHZ Worldview. The summer of 2008, Danni was asked to sing the National Anthem for the second time at Nationals Park Stadium (she sang it first in the summer of 2007 at RFK Stadium), opening a Nationals baseball game.

Any moment she can, she takes the stage and performs throughout the capital region at jam sessions, open mics and music venues for hire. Her love for music is apparent, "I feel I was put here to write music, to write songs. It's my true love and I'd rather do nothing but."

Danni's passion for singing stems from her heart and soul. Her revealing lyrics allow listeners to take up shop in her head. Her fun-loving personality reads through into the relatable tone of her music, bringing listeners to places they can understand.
